For those of you readers out there in the business world, you may have studied how to use SWOT analysis to assess the strategic position of your company. Surely, it’s a classic tool.
But for me? I hate the vast majority of SWOT analysis. Garbage in, garbage out, too careful, too boring.
HOWEVER. Add in some future trend analysis to punch it up, and you get a tool for insight that doesn’t lose the clean simplicity of the original technique. Check it out.
