Couple months ago I wrote this thread on Twitter about Russian interference in the 2016 election.

I focused on three themes:
1. Russia has been involved in active intelligence measures for years against the US and Europe.
2. The Obama administration knew, but without Republicans agreeing to expose Trump’s ties to Putin, the President had little choice but to wait and see – and if the worst came to pass, expose the story after the election.
3. Our intelligence agencies have been working tirelessly to limit the damage from these traitors.
The New Yorker magazine has now corroborated my story, with exhaustive investigative reporting.
“By mid-February, law-enforcement and intelligence agencies had accumulated multiple examples of contacts between Russians and Trump’s associates, according to three current and former U.S. officials.”
